How can I get new cars?
The first car – Mayor – is available from the start. You’ll get Neon 8 and Trulk when you reach level 2 and 4 respectively. Other cars can be found in chests (both those that you can find in the Shop and those you get for War Tokens).
Battle chest: how can I get it?
For every battle you play, you get War Tokens. The number of tokens received depends on:
- the battle result: whether your team wins or loses;
- your place in your team: the more effective you are during the battle, the more War Tokens you get;
The amount of collected tokens is displayed on the main screen. For every 100 tokens, you get a Battle Chest that can contain car parts, coins and even new cars!
By upgrading your cars, you make them more effective and get a significant advantage in battle. Each car can be upgraded up to level 10.
To upgrade your car, you need car parts. You can get them by opening chests. The amount of parts needed to make upgrades is shown on the car's card in the garage.
All cars have 3 characteristics: damage, critical hit chance and speed.
Damage – the damage your car causes per shot.
Critical hit chance – the probability of dealing critical damage.
Speed depends on the class your car belongs to.
Cars: classes and features
All cars in Cars of War fall into 3 classes: Medium-range, Long-range and Close-range.
Medium-range: Major, Trulk, Elder. The perfect all-rounder: rather high speed, rapid fire and stable damage. These cars can be used in mid- and short-range combat and display decent effectiveness in both cases.
Long-range: Andromeda, Thing, Jug-of-War. These cars are perfect for supporting your team from distant positions. Low speed is compensated by huge damage at long-range.
Close-range: Neon 8, Warboy, Sahara. The fastest and most manoeuvrable cars. They are perfect for close combat - their damage is noticeably higher than that of other cars, but their effective range is smaller.
Cars and abilities
Each car has it's own unique set of abilities that can be used in battle. Some of these abilities can be used on yourself or your team members, and others on your enemy or all nearby enemies. Abilities are listed in the garage, on the right side of the screen. To learn more about your selected car's abilities, tap one of the icons. A window with a detailed description of the car's abilities will appear.
What do I need to do to win the battle?
There are now 2 game modes in Cars of War: Crystal Battle and Team Death Match.
Your score depends on how many enemy cars you destroy, how many crystals you collect and, most importantly, how long you manage to hold onto them. The longer you hold crystals in battle, the higher your score will be. Each player can hold up to 7 crystals.
Whether your team wins or loses depends on the amount of crystals all members manage to collect by the end of the battle. You can end the battle ahead of schedule if you collect 15 crystals and hold them for 20 seconds.
Team Death Match
The rules are simple: get a better score or reach 3,500 points faster than the opposing team to win the battle. Points are scored for kills, assists and killstreaks. Cooperate with your teammates, chase enemy cars and do your best to stay alive!
Stay tuned: we’re working on a lot of cool new features, including new game modes!
